Additional information
Before you learn to drive, you need to:
- Be at least 17 years old
- Hold a valid provisional driving licence, both parts of which must be presented on your first lesson
- Be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres, or 20 metres if a new style number plate is used to test eyesight. If you need glasses or contact lenses to read the number plate, it is a legal requirement that you wear them every time you drive
The instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson if lesson payment cannot be made at the beginning of the lesson or if any of the above requirements cannot be met.
